I was looking for a freediving neck weight and got this one from Spearfishershop as promotion for an exchange for a review.
For my review, I ordered the Large model available at the time, which was 1.75kg. I wanted to use it in the pool with a very light wetsuit and in open water with my 3mm. I can say I have positive feeling for the ability to enhance stability and comfort.
Holds well and slips less during vertical dives. I’ve talked to a lot of freedivers about neck weights, including freediving school which get them in bulk. They mostly buy lobster. Mostly due to quality and durability.
Quality wise, the lobster neckweight looks much more advanced and is just far eye catching with its branding, thou its price is thru the roof. The 29/71 neck weight might be positioned well in the entry-level or mid-range segment, given the quality and the price you pay for what you get
