How forgiving are Elios suits when it comes to sizing? I’m 5’9” (175 cm) and ordering a women’s 3 Long, which is listed for up to 170 lbs (77 kg). I’m a little above that. Will being a few pounds over the chart limit mean the suit won’t fit, or will it stretch and still work?
Hi Anika, the height match is more critical than the weight figure, since excess length is harder to manage and you’d risk having excess material in the torso, arms, and legs, which is much harder to live with underwater than a slightly tighter fit.Being a few pounds over the mark won’t prevent the suit from fitting — it will simply feel tighter at first, and then gradually mold to you with regular use.
