The 29/71 B-Spec Carbon Blades are the ideal choice for beginner and intermediate freedivers seeking a lightweight, responsive, and forgiving blade. As the entry-level carbon model from 29/71, the B-Spec is engineered with the same attention to detail as higher-end models—without compromising on quality or performance.

Constructed from a blend of German and Japanese aerospace-grade carbon fibre, these blades utilize an advanced Resin Infusion process. Unlike traditional Wet Lay Up techniques, resin infusion compresses the carbon fibres under vacuum for 30 continuous hours before resin is introduced. This results in tighter fibre packing, reduced weight, and dramatically improved mechanical properties.

Each blade contains 9 carefully arranged layers of varying weights and fibre directions to deliver a unique variable flex profile. This allows the blade to remain soft and efficient during relaxed finning, while progressively stiffening under force—minimizing energy loss and supporting controlled propulsion.
